Metabolomics Researcher
Job description:
As a metabolomics researcher, you will be working on the continuous development of a unique chromatography and mass spectrometry based metabolomics platform and will be involved in the application of the platform to tackle challenging biological questions together with industrial and academic partners. State-of-the-art equipment and knowledge will be at your disposal.
Your profile:
You should have a background in GC-MS and/or LC-MS combined with a knowledge of statistics or chemometrics. Prior experience in a metabolomics environment is an asset. Candidates with a master or PhD degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, biomedicine or candidates with an equivalent qualification due to experience are invited to apply. The candidate should be motivated to be involved in the sample preparation, data acquisition (GC- and LC-MS) and data analysis/data mining part of the metabolomics pipeline. A broad interest in technology development, attention to quality and detail, a team oriented attitude and knowledge of the English language are required.
